Christian Preacher Pat Robertson told his flock on Monday that President Donald Trump is risking the support of God Almighty over his decision to pull out of Syria.

Robertson, the founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network, let his followers know that he and, in his opinion, God do not approve of the President’s decision.

Robertson said:

“The president of the United States is in danger of losing the mandate of Heaven if he permits this to happen.”

Pat Robertson not only criticized Trump for the potential “massacre” of Kurds living in Syria by Turkish President Erdogan, but also for his decision to side with Saudi Arabia over the murder of reporter Kamal Jashogi.

“You say, he’s an ally of America. It’s nonsense. He is in it for himself. And the president who allowed Khashoggi to be cut in pieces without any repercussions whatsoever is now allowing the Christians and the Kurds to be massacred by the Turks.”

President Donald Trump made the decision to pull US troops out of Syria following a late-night call with Erdogan on Sunday. Erdogan made it clear he was planning to invade Northern Syria with his army and clearly did not want to fight against US troops.

Trump’s decision to pull out has been heavily panned by Republicans in the House and Senate who believe it is a betrayal of our Kurdish allies, with the exception of Rand Paul.

The United States trained and fought alongside the Syrian Kurds to defeat ISIS. The Kurds made up a large portion of our ground troops in the area during the conflict.

At the same time, the Kurdish group we worked with, known as the YPG, is considered to be a military leg of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK). The PKK has been designated a terrorist organization by both the United States and Turkey.
